[Hallicrafters] Trade my Heathkit for your Hallicrafters?

Hello all!

A week or so ago I submitted a post to the trade/sell section of the
www.w9wze.org website.  I indicated that I was looking to trade my sx28a for a
s27/36.  Well, this post didn't generate much interest, and I found that the
28a looks great in my living room (HI, HI!), so I figured that I would see if
anybody semi local (I am in Freeport, Illinois 61032) had a project s27/36
that they would be interested in trading for a very nice Heathkit HW-8 with
matching power supply (construction and operation manuals included for both
pieces).  I would like to avoid shipping any equipment so I am willing to
drive 150 miles or so one way to make the swap.  

If there is no interest in the HW-8 I also have a Stromberg-Carlson model 61
(don't know if it is a T, BH, R) "Triple-Range" AM standard broadcast,
shortwave, and Police band receiver.  It is in what appears to be a walnut
case (pretty nice shape), is a working receiver, has good audio out of the
built in speaker ("mellow-bellow"), but could use some attention.  I have a
photocopy of a schematic for this receiver but no other documentation.

If interested in a swap just let me know and I'll send some jpegs along with a
more detailed description.  Have a great holiday season and . . .
