Please join me, and the guest NCS, on Sunday December 15th for the HCI:
Hallicrafters Collectors International 20 meter Net. Apparently Frosty The
Snowman's wife, Crystal, gave him the broom after he decorated the Christmas
Tree with some fake plastic icicles he got on sale at WalrusMart. It seems he
ate the real ones while adjusting the angle of reflection of the snowball shaped
mirrors to catch the celestial lights from the Aurora Borealis. Hopefully
Crystal will calm down before she has a melt down into a puddle and Frosty has
to call 911 to have the emergency snowflake revival team blow over and use
liquid Nitrogen to quick freeze her vital fluids. Jack Frost, being the icy
miser that he is, is charging double for frozen Nitrogen because of a shortage
caused by the hole in the Ozone layer over the North Pole. Meanwhile Frosty is
hanging out here in my walk in freezer and is tired of holiday specials that
misrepresent his life, cast doubt on the lineage of Santa Claus and History
Channel specials saying that grandma did not get run over by a reindeer, but by
a mail truck driven by a Chimpanzee who drank way too much egg nog!

Join us at 12:45 PM EST, (1745 UTC), for the pre-Net where Frosty will discuss
the scientific way to make a snowman versus the fun way every child should use
when the first good packing snow falls. Then hang in there for the Net proper at
1:15 PM EST, (1815 UTC), and meet the talking fairy tale in the flesh. Or is it
in the flakes of snow?

I hope to hear many of you tomorrow. Through rain or hail, through sleet or
snow, join us for those vacuum tube wonders that still magically glow.
Hallicrafters under the Christmas tree and a D-104 in every stocking. Well,
maybe not in occupied panty hose! That might be a good way to get your antenna
feedline cut. Certainly do not want that to happen!
