Pete
I am setting up a basic troubleshooting and maintenance workbench and have
gathered the following used items:
--URM 25D signal generator
--Tektronix 531 scope
--Heathkit IM-17 volt meater
--Heathkit signal tracer
--Eico 667 tube tester
I have a thick rubber matt where I work at the table and all outlets have
been checked for proper wiring. The workbench base is metalic but is grounded
to a standard ground rod
I am starting a collection of tubes for the various glowbugs I have and
appreciated the earlier discussion
Are there some other items and and or books you recommend for woking with
older radios. I hope to use a combination of reading and troubleshooting as a
way to really learn electronics
