True, especially some of the old AC/DC radios.  My S-38E has a 470k 
resistor that goes from neutral to chassis ground.  A GFI would probably 
see this as a fault and trip out when you touched the radio.

BTW, a GFI is a good thing to have on your workbench.  My power strip I use 
for troubleshooting equipment is plugged into one and, on occasion, I have 
accidently touched AC and tripped it while troubleshooting.  This could be 
a real lifesaver.
