Most original electrolytics had a tolerance of -50% /
+80%. That is, the 10 mfd could actually be as low as
5 mfd and as high as 18 mfd. Modern electrolytics are
usually either +/- 10% or +/- 20%, with the 20%
capacitors being much cheaper. The 30 mfd could be as
low as 15 mfd and as high as 54 mfd in actual value.
If you are just looking to repair the unit, and not
restoring it for a collector, you can purchase
individual capacitors for about $1 - $2 from Mouser
and install them under the chassis. I would go with a
40 mfd for the 30 mfd.
