[Hallicrafters] how to ruin old gear....

My tired old tale of cleaning dials with ANYTHING:
If you have a radio with a yellowed old dial, everytime you use it, you'll
remember that you're using an old, vintage radio.
If you have a radio with a dial that's missing the lettering, scale, or
other items, you'll always remember that you were an idiot for trying to
EVER clean a dial scale.
I'm sure many people will note "but I've cleaned xxxxx and it came out
just fine".... but, is it's not worth the risk of destroying a unique piece.
