More than one person doing a restoration project made the mistake of using soap
and water on dial faces, and like magic, vanished the lettering. I would urge
our subscribers to read through the archives via the HCI web site search engine
and explore this concept. There is a wealth of good information there about what
to do,as well as what not to do.
