[Hallicrafters] RME 6900

I aligned my RME 6900 with one of my service monitors
and the calibration is very close across all bands.

By the way, W9IOP supposedly used RME 6900 s/n 1 to
win the CW Sweepstakes contest for 1960. I used to
live less than 30 miles from him and one of his good
friends, W9VW (original call!), who lived about a mile
from my parents house, operated Larry's station many
times. Larry LeKashman, W9IOP (also was W8IOP and
W2IOP all at the same time - additional stations) was
the Vice President of RME - Electrovoice in Buchanan,
Michigan (just across the state line from South Bend,
Indiana). W9VW swore that W9IOP did use the 6900, as
a cw keying monitor! He really used his 75A4
according to Harold Brooks (W9VW).

But, the 6900 is at least equal to, and better than
most, of the receivers of that era (Collins excepted,
of course!).

Glen, K9STH

First, the dial calibration appears to be 1 kcs but no
way near and mot even linear from one end to the other.
