[Hallicrafters] Source for multisectional electrolytics?

Howdy!

I think my S-40a needs a new filter cap...there's a resistor coming off of
the cap that is hotter than blazes and looks like it's been scalding for
some time. There's only a slight buzz in the speaker though.

Anyway, I've been searching around the net for some NOS caps...I can only
find ones in the neighborhood of the 10-10-30 450v that I require. Can
anyone recommend a place where I might find one? How critical are these
.mfd values anyway?

My BFO is on the fritz...no action whatsoever. I checked the switch, and
it's kosher. Anything else that might be obvious that I can check?

Thanks!

CF
