Thanks for the many replies.  I don't actually have the SR-2000/PS2000 yet
as I pick it up in about one week.  Seems the first place to look for the
intermittent is the power supply hook ups from the PS2000.
A local said this was a problem with the SR-400 too.

I have to get it, put it in working order (make sure it checks into the 40
and 20 meter nets) and then I will be looking for the HA-20.  I saw the
HA-20 was not just a remore VFO but called by Trav K9EBE a Dx adaptor.   The
HA-20 allows simultanous receive on both the main VFO and HA-20 VFO.  I
can't wait to see how this works.  Trav is in the pictures for the SR-2000
in the late 60's QSTs and CQ's.  He also was active on VHF.

The 8122's are in AB1 not grounded grid so the driver is a simple 12BY7A
providing driving voltage not watts.  I have 2 spare 8122's now too.
