Well, since I'm one of the newer ones, thought I'd throw in my .02 worth.
I had a couple of S-38s years ago, but sadly they're gone.
My first phone transmitter was an HT-37, paired with a Drake 2B. They gave way to
a Yaesu. Oh well.
About three years ago, I bought an HT-32B from a friend at work. His dad bought it
for him when he was in high school. Ordered it from Sears, believe it or not.
Still in great shape, even came in the original box. The next year, I picked up a
pretty fair SX-101A at Dayton and got them on the air together. Last year, I found
an SX-115 at an almost-reasonable price, and really enjoy it. Have recapped all
the electrolytics in it. Also have the R-46B and R-47 speakers. The 32B, 115, and
a Johnson KW Matchbox occupy my operating desk. (The Yaesu got moved off the table
to reside next to the computer.)
Guess that's about it. The SX-101A will probably go back into circulation at
Dayton this year.
