Hello:

After chasing down an eBay seller through his local police and with help 
from eBay, my s40a
has arrived after two months.  And it even works!  It's not pretty, but has 
potential.

I am wondering:
Has anyone ever taken a rig case into a local auto body shop, had it sand 
blasted and powder coated with the appropriate paint?  I don't feel 
confident enough to do it myself, and I don't want to botch it.  And if you 
did this, about how much does it cost?

Has anyone ever had a front panel painted and silk screened at

Should the panel be prepped and ready to paint before sending in?

And how to you polish up those pot metal tuning knobs?
