[GVARC] Today's GVARC meeting - minutes

Hi all,

Two items that came up at the meeting.

A proposal is on the table to purchase a crank up tower from Force 12.  The
two models below were talked about:

LPT-827 - 8' sections, 27' extended
        4 sections, 110 pounds
        9�8" nested height
        27�6" extended height
        15 square foot wind load at 60 mph*
        $1,229.00

LPT-1242 - 12' sections, 42' extended
        4 sections, 145 pounds
        13�8" nested height
        42� extended height
        9 square foot wind load at 60 mph*
        $1,390.00

We unfortunately did not reserve the Doe Flat campground soon enough this
year and we lost it to a unknown group.  The ranger will not allow us to
talk to the group and indicates that it is first come first served.  Give me
your suggestions for an alternate site that can handle our group, tent,
antennas and generator.  Also help out if you can by helping me the contact
information for any suggested location.
