Hello Folks,
I am giving a ham presentation on Wednesday the 14th in Redwood City. The
presentation will cover aspects of how computers can assist the ham radio
operator. I can do an old tech overhead transparency routine, or, I would
prefer, to do a live internet demo, to surf the internet to the particularly
good and useful sites to hams, especially those useful to DXers, and
contesters. I do not consider myself to be an authority on the subject, but
someone else did, and asked me to do the program, and I am happy to oblige.
The facility probably has a wired phone access, so could theoretically
support a 56k modem hookup.
I am seeking use of a computer with projection video, that is set up for
dialup internet access. Can anyone help?
Alternatively.....and here I reveal my inexperience, could I store an array
of web pages that I deem interesting, on a computer, and scroll through
them, just as if I were on line? If yes, how would I do that?
Tnx, 73,
Please QSL to
