[GVARC] Fwd: PSK31 with Golden Bear;Press Coming/Wine Tasting

Hello Frank, and North MBay/SouthSFBay guys...

The Sked with Golden Bear went well.  After a long voice chat,
during which, conditions changed to the point where Bobby, KF6ZYN on
the Bear, was nearly inaudible, we tried a quick try on PSK 31.
Much to Bobby's credit with computers, Bobby, a newly licensed ham,
but also a computer whiz that will be going places, managed to get
PSK 31 working, with hookups and software interfacing beginning only
after departure of the Golden Bear from Honolulu, a month and a half
ago.  Bobby sent out a connect call to us, via PSK31, which I
readily copied. My PSK 31 trasmit capability was not up, so I could
not make the connect.  So since then we (KF6ZYJ Bob Senior in
Carmel, Pat (AA6EG, (me)), Dick Diddams, W7QHE and others have been
whipping into shape our PSK 31 setups.  Tuesday night at either 9:00
or 10:00 pm pdst, we will sked again with WB6IWB, and do both voice
and PSK 31.  at 14.325. (voice)and 14.073 PSK 31.

Invite is open for anyone to come down to N6IJ...We'll have a little
wine tasting and schmooze with the Press, and then do the sked.
Bring some soft drinks, munchies, and/or any desired wine to drink.
We have fridge, and wine glasses.
RSVP so we know how many to expect.
