[GreenKeys] Looking for Alternative Method of Receiving Internet Broadcast of TTY Modem Tones

Paul, lots of options.

1. Find an older Raz Pi with audio connector, perhaps a 3, so no USB
dongle will be needed. Set it up headless to boot and auto login, auto
start a shell script to link to ITTY or your other streaming source or
mp3 afsk files.

2. Use your Pi internal bluetooth and a cheap $3 audio bluetooth module
from amazon or ebay, etc., to get the audio to your TU wirelessly.

3. Use an old smartphone for the wireless internet connectivity and its
bluetooth to connect as in 2. Few phones today have actual headphone
jacks so bluetooth is the only way.

4. Purchase an mp3 player (android recommended) WITH WIFI and do same as
in 2 and 3. You can store and stream afsk and add mp3s in the playlist.

5. Write a python script and write the keying to a gpio pin. Add a solid
state switch to key your loop.

6. Others are out there...

Highly recommend the bluetooth as you can play way across the room
without tripping on the cables. I use bluetooth at the museum for
running files and W6IWI news feeds. You can stick you old phone or mp3
player on a nearby shelf and let it run for hours. On 5bits.net are
several test files.
