At some later point I took a look at the answerback mechanism:

I was able to buy _almost_ all of the code blades I needed from Mr.
RTTY, but one of them (I seem to recall K?  I'm sure the video says)
was not in stock, and rather than breaking an unencoded blade, I sat
down with a dremel and "machined" one.
