Hi Chuck. That ham rig probably automatically selects LSB for RTTY and SSB
modes on 40m. So you may have to force it to USB somehow. If not, try 7091
LSB but the mark-space tones will be reversed. . In CW, you’d want to tune
to 7089 and make the BFO -2000 Hz.
We run 7087 USB with a 2000+-425 Hz tone mark-low which is a military
standard that matches the equipment we use.
Try listening Saturday morning at 0800 central time for our net. You should
be able to hear us OK. From North Carolina I work Michigan, Vermont, and
Florida OK.
