Here is a video of the process (below). Looking at his CAD schematic, it almost looks like there would be have to be a spring?:

Also he made some other parts, like the platen crank handle. Some of this would be pretty valuable, as I’ve heard — and I could be wrong — that Mr. RTTY has run out of some parts. With the key tops, vinyl lettering could be made and placed on top.
It’s a pretty interesting idea!… better than nothing for sure!
