Correction: It DOES look like they made a pair of keytops in addition to some key caps. Would like to see more details about the process. Did they insert springs? Did they have to do anything to make the 3D keytops fit onto the key lever disks? Will they be making the symbols for the caps?

Maybe we have a terms thing happening? That looks like they 3D printed some key caps (and that is what they themselves called their creation). The key cap is the upper layer of a spring cushion key top and bears the symbols. The spring cushion keytop locks onto a keyboard key lever's metal disk.
It's a useful skill to have developed since we often encounter keytops without their caps but the worst case is when all we have is the bare metal key lever & disk. The multipart keytop is the greatest challenge to reproduce.
FWIW, is seems there were keys made that didn't have a spring cushion arrangement. These were called celluloid keytops & could be 3D printed, too. But it's been my experience that most Teletypes used the spring cushion keytops.

Hi,
Check out Thingiverse (www.thingiverse.com/thing:3020027), there is a description of keytops made by 3d printing for a M15 Teletype.
