Chris,
Note that the RS232 to Model 15 TTY board you're ordering from me will allow your weather software to print directly to your Model 15 in ASCII at 9600 baud without having to worry about 45 baud or baudot.

Im still trying to come up with a way to connect my laptop or a PC to my model 15s or 19 Im having a bear of a time seems like many of the components folks built the boards for these with simply dont work with 45 baud anymore... Im sitting here wondering if one of my Hal 5000s or 6000s couldn't be the bridge and some type of software be used to solve the issue.??? A bit of background I designed a PC based weather notification system for use in emergency management and we use a very nice third party software for getting then processing the weather alerts etc... I think it would be cool to use one of my 15s as a defacto printer when I want to play or on a busy weather day... I can send the data numerous ways and could simply actuate a .exe program or send it to a printer etc etc... My thought was since my Hals already have a RS232 port and a loop output that easily hooks to the 15s would it be possible to use an existing software solution as a Bridge so basically Id send the weather alert to be printed through some sort of software that could feed it the RS232 port in the Hal at 45 baud which would then relay it to the model 15...
Thoughts and Im no software writerr..
