[GreenKeys] Range Finder Setting/Distortion usage?

I was always told (prob on here) that no two of these are ever alike, whether different parts and features, wear and tear, or one tiny lever with gummed up grease.

There are a lot of things that can affect the range, one being speed. Does this have a synchronous or governed motor? Is the speed correct? Are the gears correct? One way to tell would be to hit a key (such as R or Y with alternating bits) and capture it on a single sweep scope. Each bit should be 22 ms for 60 wpm.
