That is indeed a pretty cool project!   Is there a description of your dsp algorithm somewhere?

I have been using kicad for a couple of years now, and it has quirks but has been awesome.  I moved from eagle (which has been ruined by autodorks).  In parallel I also started learning freecad, initially to make some 3d models for kicad, but now I am also using it to design a machine.

Thanks! The project keeps me busy. It's my first time actually writing DSP
code, first time using the particular development system, first time using
KiCAD, and first time soldering SMT parts.

I think the mix of heavy metal Teletype and DSP is the perfect mix of old
and new.
