[GreenKeys] Weird hardware size

I think most of us would agree that unitized fastener measurements would be
nice BUT- a few points are in order-
ISO metric fasteners seem to have been dimensioned by bureaucrats to hold to
integer values, such as M6 x 1
SAE fasteners are similar, but with more granularity in thread pitch versus
diameter. This allows for better thread diameter to pitch ratios.
The ultimate engineer's fastener, however, is the Whitworth. They threw
caution to the wind and just made the dimensions golden from a strength
standpoint.
I guess we all know which one won out!
BTW, the teletype hardware is indeed strange. NC values are 1-64,2-56,
3-48, 4-40, 6-32, 8-32, 10-24,12-24 and 1/4"-20, NF is 0-80, 1-72, 2-64,
3-56, 4-48, 5-44, 6-40, 8-36, 10-32, 12-28, and 1/4"-28

I'm also baffled as to why they still use the measurement system of their
former oppressors :-)
