[GreenKeys] Info needed on CV-278/GR

I helped Mike with this unit this afternoon. It seems to work, but prints
garbage when I send him 850 Hz shift. Since it is an IF FM discriminator,
I'm thinking it should be tuned to peak the input level meter and zero the
discriminator, which, I think, uses the peak mark and space outputs out of
the discriminator to drive the meter. This also has a polar relay output,
so the contacts were just put in Mike's local loop.

I wonder about the effect of the BFO. Is it inserted in a later IF stage
so it does not interfere with the discriminator?

The stuff Mike has is really clean and looks new.

Harold
