[GreenKeys] Model 15 "LAZY S"

Boy I'm in the home stretch on this model 15!
But I have an odd problem with it.
Background the machine was sent to me to fix a problem, well the shipper
UPS "Dropped" it (I guess that makes it a DROP SHIP eh?? LOL!)
Anyway, After replacing both end frames fresh new carriage draw belt and a
zillion adjustments later she runs like a champ EXCEPT in about the first 8
character positions it plays lazy with just the letter "S" see attached
photo.
After about the 8th character position it seems to print fine.
Its really odd I thought it might be the function bar for the bell (machine
is bell s)
But that appears to not be the issue kinda at a loss...

Any thoughts???
