John,
The AWA Museum Audio Department has working tape machines and regularly
digitizes old tapes. Let me check and see if they are interested.
You mentioned "reels of low speed multichannel logging recorder tapes"
Are these special "logging" tapes with more than 4 tracks (two in each
direction) per tape?
