Hey all,
Here’s a photo of the two wire recorders. Like mentioned before, they are in somewhat rough shape… one better than the other — mice have been either on or in them :/ . Anywho, these are the Electronic Secretary DCR-1 (one is slightly different than the other with callback). A manual from 1957 can be found here:

…so these look like early answering machines maybe? Interesting.
Ah well, photos attached. Unknown if they work and the lesser of the two is for sure missing some parts.
I know I had interest days ago, so after seeing these photos, those who were — please let me know if you still are. Priority will come first to those who can come pick these up (or as mentioned before, I can drive 175 miles outside of Lincoln, Nebraska and handoff, to help with fuel costs). Shipping will be steep on the secondary priority-take level… I think the weight of these are roughly one-third of a 15 each? If shipped, all I ask are for the packaging and shipping costs — otherwise free.
Not trying to be picky, things are just tight here as well ;p .
Please let me know one more time after seeing these photos if anyone wants them off-list (for whose who did) and I’ll get things rolling from there within the next few days or so :) .
