[GreenKeys] Need keyword ideas to research old C&P building

Hello,
 This old building along rt 13 on Cotton Hill (Near Gauley Bridge, WV) was some sort of telephone or teletype link to Charleston, WV.Rt 13 is the old Giles Fayette Kanawha turnpike.Today the road is abandon and only used by ATVs or jeeps.
I'm searching for further info on it. Some keywords to search on would be helpful.Any ideas? Was there a name for such a node in the network?Somewhere I had a photo of the inside taken during it's hay day.Cannot seem to find it now.
