While I was cleaning, I noticed the same thing. Some of the type bars would stick
the way you describe. After cleaning, unfreezing, lubricating, and reinstalling
the type basket, all the type bars worked the way they are supposed to.

 Greetings,
I have my M15's type bar basket out and have been soaking it and cleaning it.At first the type bars would not move at all.I have finally got them moving pretty free but there is one thing that concerns me.Some bars want to stick in the fully striked position. (up against the ribbon.)It feels almost like there is detent at the farthest extent of the swing. Not sure what they are hanging on.This does not seem normal.A slight push will pop it back out but I'm not sure what would happen if I attempted to run it under power.Maybe there would be enough rebound off the roller to keep it from hanging I don't know.Any thoughts? Maybe if it were assembled the bat would strike the platen roller before reaching the sticking point? Just thought of that have not tried it yet.
One more question. Some of the type bar springs have rusted and broke.I need to do more disassembly to get access to them. Before I start taking it apart willy nilly let me ask:
At a minimum what needs to come off to access those springs?I don't want to take apart more than is necessary.
