Charles,
That is a Teletype Corp. Model 15 machine. It is a good basic machine
to get started with. It was the "standard of the industry" from 1930
into the 1960s.
But that one looks like it will need a lot of cleaning. Not worth $100,
especially without seeing the insides. You can often find ones in better
condition for $50 or less.
The table may be a very early Teletype Corp table. It looks similar to
the Model 12 table and has a cutout for the power & signal cords.
Keep watching for something a little better and closer. (the machine
weighs over 100 pounds.)
