Glad that helped! I have also found it difficult to find documentation on
these units. I experimented with mine and here's what I got...

MD100:
Firmware (c) 1989
Mode options are morse, RTTY at 60, 67, 75 and 100 wpm, and 110 or 300 baud
ASCII
Does not have F1 or F2 buttons, only display intensity up and down.
Has an internal rechargeable battery.
Decodes 60 wpm ITTY fine.

MD300:
Firmware (c) 1991
Mode options are morse, RTTY at 60, 67, 75 and 100 wpm, 110 and 300 baud
ASCII, and AM-SITOR
Does have the F1 and F2 buttons.
Also has the R60-I B/D/S options, but won't decode ITTY in any of those
modes. It *will *decode ITTY when selecting just "60 WPM", however.
The B/D/S modes are also available in 110 and 300 baud ASCII. No clue
about what the B/D/S options are.
Options for SITOR are A-ARQ F or L, and B-FEC F or L. I know nothing about
SITOR so I have no idea what any of that means. Does anyone use SITOR
anymore?
Does not have the internal battery.

Try pressing select until you get to RTTY. If it doesn't decode ITTY, try
pressing F2 until you see just 60 WPM on the display...

BTW, I did hookup the VIP50 to a monitor and I got a bootup message.
Haven't hooked it to the MD100 or 300 yet to see if it will actually
display the data coming in yet.

73,
G
