  To further indulge in (sort-of) off-topicness [topicality? ] -

I typically use Ki-Cad and PCB123.

Also I have a great amount of fun with MicroCap-12, a very elaborate
design and simulator package by www.spectrum-soft.com. They are no
longer in business (after nearly 40 years) but the Software is available
for free download along with all the documentation, and there are also
plenty of resources on their website.

For us Old Guys (and the Old at heart...) it has a /huge/ library of
devices, including many, many vacuum tubes, both specific types (ie.
'6146') and generics (ie. 'pentode').

I like it much better than LTSpice, and I've delivered several projects
done entirely in MicroCap, then finished by just "plugging in" the parts....

So you can put away that Deci Log-Log Duplex Trig slide rule and K+E
Logarithmic Graph Paper, and download MicroCap!

Cheers
