Fun! I did a spreadsheet to keep track of it, but did not include the 2
kHz +/- 425 Hz tone frequencies. Perhaps I should add that... The
spreadsheet is at
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1b07dH6ZKoI_QeeG4l6Snz9WuRuN6Z1WqqE4y5t1WtQw/edit?usp=sharing
,

I then put the results at https://w6iwi.org/rtty/ .

On the equipment you have, what are the mark and space tone frequencies
for each shift (850 and 170)? I'll try to add that to the spreadsheet.

Also, THANKS again for the 15 printer and the 14 typing reperf. AND the
extensive collection of manuals. I'm currently using the 14 TD manual to
get my new 14 TD running. It's getting close!

Various mechanical parts were frozen (main shaft would not rotate after
the clutch). Cleaning lubrication, and exercise got that all running. The
tape advance also was not moving due to a frozen pawl. Now everything is
working mechanically. The contacts on the tight tape switch were dirty, so
someone had bypassed that switch. A solder connection from the front
toggle switch to the end of tape switch was bad. So now, the mechanics all
works!

But it looks like there is an open somewhere in the loop
switch/distributor wiring. The loop just runs open. The fact that it runs
open even when stopped (with distributor on stop bit) indicates to me that
it is not the hole sense switch wiring. Time to trace more wires! Having
the schematic really helps!
