[GreenKeys] Dash pot lubrication

Greetings my people.

 First time post

In my experience, the 2 drops to the dash pot helped to prevent the cup from drying out due to friction, keeping it malleable, failure would happen sooner with an un-lubricated pot. You know when you need it as that “slamming” sound is unmistakable.

I’ve changed a ton of dash pot cups and always assumed they were some sort of rubber. Never really thought about their composition, just knew when they needed replacement….go figure.
