[GreenKeys] Dash pot lubrication

Good morning North America,

I was a little surprised by the following lubrication instruction.  
Generally I've always thought oil wasn't good for the life of rubber.  
Of course I don't know for sure what the dash pot cup is made of, but it 
looks like rubber.

If I am reading this correctly it says to put 2 drops of oil into the 
interior of the dash pot.
