[GreenKeys] RTTY tuning display

 The two tones, mark and space are sent to the vertical and horizontal inputs separately.It allows you you to see the differences in level, and depending, it's it's not a 90 degree cross, it means the shift is either more or less than it should be.Lastly, if it's rotated, it means it's off frequency.

 Can someone explain the theory behind the scope display for tuning RTTY?I'm talking about the two ellipses at right angles.I understand making Lissajous patterns using X and Y inputs on a scope.Is this being done with a dual trace scope?Maybe one beam drawing an ellipse for Mark and the other drawing an ellipse for Space?
