I tried the motor a half-dozen times on the bench.
It started every time.

By the way, I spun it by hand on the machine (In the correct direction.) The machine would cycle and nothing seemed to be tight.

Since the link you sent is for a capacitor of about half the original value, are you implying I should use two in parallel?
