Yes there is a set of "verifier" contacts on some versions of the LARP
(the multi-magnet punch) shown with the other LARP parts. I'm not sure
that would work with an ASR cabinet though, it sticks out quite a bit
down stream of the punch.
There is a kit for the left end of the typing unit to read the code
bars. I've never seen anything for the keyboard, but do you suppose one
could be rigged in the spot where the answer back mounts. If you can
push code bars from there by the AB, I'd think you could read them instead.
