This has been a very interesting thread, including the first good practical explanation of the difference between "regular" oil and synthetic oil I've heard.
This leads me to two question.
How much better are some of the other oils mentioned than 10W synthetic which I can get from a store only 5 blocks away.
What happens when the two ( synthetic and non-synthetic) are mixed together for example in that oil reservoir on the selector?
