Update:  There’s been good response on my 28KSRs and they probably are claimed.  Will confirm when that’s definite.  Those who were concerned by my mention of scrapping may take comfort.

I don’t post often but have rescued machines since the early 1990s and found new homes for somewhere over 50.  That includes model 14, 15, 26, 28, 32, 33, Mite, Kleinschmidt, FRXDs, Iron Horses and some European machines.  (Never had a 12 though.) Saved six truckloads of machines and lots of NOS TTY parts from a magnificent hoard in Kentucky.  I gave Nick his first 28.

So, it’s good to see a new generation of interest in these marvels and reasons to hope that knowledge and skill will survive.  But times are changing.
