[GreenKeys] Some nostalgia

Nice article, thanks for sharing. In the 1960's, my Dad worked for RCA Service Corp, which had the service contract for UPI printers in radio and television stations, at least in northern Wisconsin where we lived. He had a shop in the basement where he repaired and overhauled Model 15 ROs. He also had the UPI feed to the house to be used as a test signal. Dad always had one teletype operational so when us boys would get bored we'd go to Dad's shop and turn on the teletype to hear it run, and then read the news. When the bell rung 4 or 5 times, we knew we had a big story, usually something about politics or the Viet Nam war, or someone died. Dad's work on teletype eventually led him and his three sons to become hams. I still operate Model 19 here in my shack, hence my being a member of this list. And the rest is history.
