Hi Scott, Thanks for providing more accurate information about the 
Motorola history.

So the Gavin name was likely on the BC-611 rather than the Motorola 
trade mark or am I remembering wrong.

(I still have some Motorola stuff in the garage - UHF Micor, Nice 
cabinet that used to have a paging system in it etc.)
