[GreenKeys] Hal ST-6 using it in modern times

Yep, that was one of a few issues, and thanks to you and Russel I got it sorted out:

1. I didnt realize RTTY uses LSB, even on 20 meters.

2. I had the st-6 on AM mode

3. Radio was turned up too loud (from trying to pick up weak stations)

4. 857D radio’s 500hz cw filter appears to be fixed at a center freq of 1700hz. As such, when I tried to tune the station up to 2125(ish) for the hal, the filter cut it out.

Correct me if Im wrong on that last one, but I saw the freq response showing on fldigi’s waterfall.

Thanks all!

I spent the day fiddling with radio stuff and have a magnetic loop set up in the back yard (MFJ-1786). I have that hooked up to my Yaesu 857D, and on 20 meters I'm occasionally seeing rtty signals, but it seems like the noise level alone triggers the hal into printing gibberish. Not sure if my 857 can cleanly filter out just the rtty signal, especially with the loop being very finicky. (I could prob just clip lead a random wire outside if need be.
