I have built several UART based devices in the past that was intended
for correction of distortion. These boards can be clocked at either 60
or 100 wpm. They work fine with a M28 tty taking in data at 60 wpm and
clocking it out at 100 wpm. It will also clock the other direction but
buffering is required so is not useful for that conversion.
the M28 will work efficiently at 100 wpm and I have had good results
with the Kleinschmidt TT-98 printer. The TT-98 does have to be
carefully adjusted and maintained. I have never tried a Model 15 on
this speed. Doubt that it would be able to keep up.
