Alright, let's reinforce the concrete floors and tie all the nuts and bolts for the 100wpm spectacle.

Sure, why not - I'm in to blow up some stuff

Subject: [GreenKeys] Anyone interested in 100WPM?

Greetings greenkeyers,

Thanks to George Hutchison’s generosity, we now have enough gear to put up another channel. Tom Tillson and I are testing out a 100WPM channel. If you’ve never seen a machine running at 100WPM, you are in for a treat if you find a way to see one. A whole 75 (74.4) baud! Sometimes you would swear the machine is going to fly apart.

Is there any interest out there for a permanent channel? We could make it an autostart type of channel where you send something and it prints, and perhaps we can impose on Tom for an occasional picture show. Or we could make it more of a text channel that would always be printing something but not be as up to date as the ITTY main channel.

There may not be much 100WPM equipment out there, so there may be no need for a dedicated channel that we maintain and keep running on a regular basis. We are not making any commitments as these channels are not free: they take time to maintain and electricity to run. But if the interest is high we could look into it.

One thing Tom told me to keep in mind: 100WPM really eats up resources fast.
