[GreenKeys] Model 28's in "Andromeda Strain"

 I remember seeing that movie when I was in junior high (around 1974) - I was familiar with the ASR 33 from using my school's timeshare system, and I knew what I was seeing was a teletype, but I was surprised b/c it was nothing like the '33...   Later on, in high school  (maybe 1978), I manged to buy  my first KSR 15 for $35.  '33's were way too expensive for a poor hs kid.  I used my COSMAC Elf and a homebrew modem to access the school's timeshare system from home using the '15 - the Elf did the baud rate and code conversion.  Good times!

Aside from the spotting, there is a character in Michael Crichton's book "Andromeda Strain", and this 1971 movie, bearing the same name as me. Dr. Mark Hall, portrayed by actor James Olson. Ain't that so cool?

This concludes this test of the Early Senility Warning System. Had this been an actual emergency, I would have remained sitting at my computer babbling softly and drooling profusely. Thanks for the insurrection, now back to regularly scheduled programming.
