Not quite RTTY, but Teletype Corp made their own version of the
Hellschriber, known as the M 17.

Duncan,
I've put my 630 meter station on the air as a Hellschreiber beacon using
sequential multitone Hell.
You can see it now with the following setup using WSJT-X:
Receiver: Tune to 478.0 KHz LSB
WSJT-X Mode = WSPR
Hellschreiber text appears just below 1500 Hz on the Wide Graph. You'll
probably need to adjust the gain and zero sliders in WSJT-X to get
readable copy.
Other software with a waterfall display will work, but I set my
Hellschreiber parameters to look good on WSJT-X. If your program shows
the letters upside down, just switch to 475 KHz USB.
The sequence repeats at 10 minute intervals.
73,
Mark
