[GreenKeys] Silent 700 (707) chance to buy...

Hi, all -

 

I have a chance to buy a TI Silent 707 with a built in modem.  I'm an old
guy who did a lot of COBOL programming back in the day using TTY including
the Silent 700 at 300bps.

I was thinking about buying this and bringing it into the office to show the
"kids" how we used to do things.

 

Couple of questions:  Does anyone know if there are any dial-up BBS's that
might provide some boilerplate text like the weather report or news
headlines and all that?  I'm thinking I could set this up, give them the
instructions of how to "dial in" and then print the current weather, or some
other kind of general information that might be useful.
