If you wanted to use the keyboard and TD at the same time they would have to be on separate circuits. So then you'd need a way to change circuits if there was need to send via TD on one circuit or the other. And then what about the keyboard changing between circuits? Now let's throw in the aux/domed reperf. If you get it figured out Nick let us know.
That's one reason I liked the Kleinschmidt AN/FGC-25 machines. They had a way to handle all those variations.
